Dr Lyndal Thorburn commenced Advance Consulting & Evaluation in 1996. In July 2004 the company merged with Aoris Nova Pty Ltd to become Innovation Dynamics. The business specialises in consulting to governments on industry policy relating to the development of technology-based industries. Dr Thorburn and her team have authored reports for federal and state governments that have shaped policy towards Australia's emerging biotech industry.

Maria has extensive experience at a senior executive level across a range of industries including energy, mining, insurance, construction and telecommunications. Maria is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has a Masters of Business Administration.

Ciara Doran
Ciara Doran is General Manager of Capital Linen Services, which provides linen rental and laundering services to the health and hospitality industries in the ACT. Ciara is responsible for all aspects of the business including operations, finance, customer support, purchasing, occupational health and safety and human resources.Since taking on the role two years ago, Ciara has turned the business around from making a loss, to now being a profitable, sustainable business.

Ilea Kerans
Ilea Kerans is co-owner and Managing Director of Canberra Contract Furniture, a commercial furniture dealership that represents the world's second largest commercial furniture manufacturer. The business employs five staff and up to 15 contractors and services clients in the ACT and regional New South Wales. Prior to purchasing her business last year, 21-year-old Ilea worked in real estate and owned five residential properties.
