Wendy Teasdale-Smith
Wendy Teasdale-Smith is the Principal of Aberfoyle Park High School. Joining the school in 2004, Wendy successfully eradicated a bullying culture that was present among staff, and which was indirectly affecting the results of its school leavers. By 2005, the Year 12 students received the best academic results of the previous five years, and an increased number went onto further study. Wendy won the ?Principal of the Year? Award in 2004, has published a number of articles in education journals and in 2005 was elected as Deputy President of the Australian Secondary Principals Association.

In 2005, Melissa established a Women in Resources and Energy branch in Victoria, which aims to attract and retain females to the male-dominated industry by providing inspirational guest speakers and opportunities for networking and mentoring. She is currently looking to establish a similar group for women in South Australia.
